Elmo’s POV

Ok rewind rewind rewind. What the hell just happpened. She grab my hand and put it unto her face and i felt her tears fall into my hand. Why is she cryin? Kasalanan ko ba? 

“baby why are you crying” i asked. She cried even harder. Thank god nasa pinasulok kami at walang makakakita samin.

“i don’t know, why the hell this freakin’ tears keep falling” julie said.

“are you crazy” i tried to joke to lighten the situation.

“maybe i am because i don’t want you to be mad at me” julie’s eyes shows her pain, damn.

“i told you i’ m not mad at you”

“and i know that you’re lying. I can still feel your pain.”

“and how’s that possible?” though i know thats possible i have to ask baka naman naooverwhelm lang ako sa sinasabi nya at mali naman pala ang iniisip ko.

“i don’t know too. You can laugh all you want pero un talaga ang nararamdaman ko eh. Ang gulo ng damdamin ko.”

“oh baby you makin’ me crazy” but im happy to know na she care for my feelings.

“hey don’t call me baby, or your highness im Julie.” nakapout na sabi nya.

“i will call you whatever name i wanna call you. Wag ng umangal!” ang saya ng feeling ko para lang kaming mgjowang nag-away at ngbati.

“hmmmpfff, why your so bossy, who the hell you think you are to boss me around?” nakasimangot nyang sabi. Pero nakangiti naman ang mata. Hell is that possible?

“hahhha baby just finish your food at maggagala pa tayo.”

Hahaha gusto nya pang mgprotest pero sinubuan ko na siya ng food, hindi nya naman tinanggihan sa halip tumawa pa siya at sinubuan din ako. 

Kumain at ngkulitan. Ngasaran ngusap ng walang kwentang bagay. Tumawa ng tumawa. Nabugbug ang katawan ko. Grabe tong babaeng to ang gaan ng kamay. Ang macho pa. Laging nakahampas. Pero thats the happiest and memorable lunch i ever had so far.

After na kumain, naglakad lakad kami sa mall. Maraming nakatingin. May nagtataka. May kumukuha ng pictures. May kinikilig. May naiinggit. My napapatingin lang habang ang iba naman at naiistartruck samin. Ehem ako na mayabang.

Wala kaming parehong pakialam. Masaya kami at may sariling mundo. Nagtatawanan, ngkukulitan, nagaasaran. Ng araw nayon para lang kaming normal na mgjowang ngagagala sa mall.

Ngwindow shopping, kumain ng ice cream, tumambay sa bookstore. Umupo sa isang bench at minurder ang bawat dumadaan sa harapan namin. Tumambay sa my seaside at hinintay lumubog ang araw. Habang ngkukwentuhan at kumakain ng mani at popcorn at umiinom ng sago at gulaman. Pati fishballs hindi pinalagpas.

Simpleng date pero date na hindi malilimutan. All the crazy banat, mga asaran, mga kulitan. Mga jokes. Mga pictures. Mga ala alang di mawawala sa puso lumipas man ang mahabang panahon.

ELMO’s POV

Ang ganda niya. Para lang siyang anghel na natutulog. Bakas ang pagod sa mukha nya. Sana pala hinayaan ko nalang siyang umuwi at magpahinga.

Habang nakatitig kay julie, hinawi ko ang buhok na tumatabing sa mukha nito. Ang peaceful ng mukha nya. I can watch her all day sleeping and it makes me happy. 

Unti unti siyang gumalaw at nagising.

“hey nakatulog pala ako. Kanina pa ba tayo nandito? Sana ginising mo ako.”

“haha sarap ng tulog mo eh, tulo pa nga laway mo, nahiya naman akong gisingin ka” pang-aasar ko para pagtakpan ang kahihiyan ko.

“hoy yabang mo. Hindi ako tulo laway no.” nakapout na sabi niya at kinurot ako.

“hey physical abuse yan. Alam ba ng mga fans mo na sadista ka?” 

“hoy mabait ako ha, tara na nga baba na tayo” nakasimangot parin.

“hey sori na ang cute mo lang kasing asarin eh.” sabi ko.

Ngumiti lang si julie at sabi “hey kain muna tayo gutom na ako eh”.

“okey where you wanna eat?”

“hmmm i want pizza and pasta”

“woahhh you got big appetite, how come your sexy?”

“hey papuri ba yan insulto?

“complement po un your highness! Kasi nakakagulat lng”

“kasi iyong mga nakakadate mo di matakaw?” sabi ni japs habang nakairap kay Moe.

“hey don’t get me wrong i love girl n hindi binibilang ang calorie ng kinakain, its just that your the first” paliwanag ni Moe at di mapigilang ngumiti kasi nahimigan nya ang selos sa boses ni Japs.

Hahaha ako na ang feelingero at assuming pero selos talaga ang nakita ko kanina sa mga mata nya at sa boses nya. Habang kinakausap ni Moe ang sarili nya.

“hey Magalona to earth” pinitik ni Julie ang kamay nya sa mukha ni Elmo.

“huh?” gulat n sabi ni Moe

“huh your face. Mr. bago ka mgday dream jan umorder na tayo. Gutom na kaya ako” 

“sorry sige order na tayo” Nag-order na kami. Ang kulet lng ni Julie para siyang bata. Who have thought na ang tinitingala nilang big star eh normal na tao lng pala na ngtatantrums at matakaw.

 ”aray naman pre kung makahampas ka naman” habang nakapila kami naramdaman ko nalang na my humampas sa balikat ko. 

” e kasi naman tinatanong kita di ka sumasagot” makapout na sabi ni Julie.

Awww so cute.. “hmmm ano ba kasi tanong mo?” nakayuko ako sa kanya habang nakatingala xa sakin. Yong parang sa tingin ng iba para kaming mgjowang ngkukulitan lang.

“sabi ko anong gusto mong pizza saka kung tig half ba tayo ng pasta oh whole nalng bilin natin?” Sabi ni Japs ng mapansin nya ang position nila ni Moe, hala bakit mukha kaming nglalambingang mgjowa. Biglang napaatras at mejo nailang.

” bakit ka lumayo?” tanong no Moe

“baka isipin nila tayo na, saka kung di mo napapansin ang dami ng kumukuha ng picture natin”

“Hayaan mo sila basta walang lalapit at walng manggugulo kasi ngayon araw na to ikaw si julie at ako si elmo simpleng tao. A guy and a girl who wanna hang out and know each other. Un lang ang isipin mo”

“ok po pero pwede ba umorder ka na kasi si  Julie malapit ng mamatay sa gutom.”

Hindi mapigilang matawa ni Moe sa banat ni Julie. She’s really a gem and i’m glad our path crossed sa isip ni Elmo habang nakangiti.

“hey upo na tayo tapos na kong mgorder” sabay hila ni Julie sa kamay ni Elmo.

Hell she really hold my hand. Ok i’m hyperventilating can somebody gave me oxygen? All im asking to JC is a date pero ang dami nyang binigay na bonus. Grabe promise magiging mabait na ako sa lahat ng tao.

“hey ok k lng ba? Tulala ka n nmn. Lagi k nalang tulala” nakalabing sabi ni Julie

Hay she’s really my angel. “ang ganda mo kasi. Can’t help n matulala sayo” at namula na naman siya. Kakatuwa.

“hay naku Magalona tama na ha. Nakakainis ka na. Masasaktan k na sakin.”

“hahaha nakakatuwa ka kasing tignan pag nagbablush ka.” sabi ko. “teka bakit opposite tayo? Dapat same side tayo para naman tayong magkaaway niyan eh.” at lumipat ako sa tabi niya.

“alam mo bakit ganyan you act as if you’re courting me?”

“bakit my magagalit ba when i court you?” 

“huh? Ano un? Nabingi yata ako” sabi nya. Alam ko naman na narinig nya umiiwas lang xa sa topic na yon. Wahhh ouch naman. Baka meron n siyang jowa.

“sorry i’m too straightforward, it’s just that i’m looking for you too long that i’m afraid that if magbagal pa ako eh maunahan na ko ng iba. O baka naunahan na ko ng iba.” mahaba kong sabi habang siya ay tuloy sa pagkain na parang walang naririnig. Wow ouch talaga kuya eddie. 

Here i am pouring my heart out and this little gorgeous creature eating to her heart contentment and acting as if she doesn’t hear me at all. Wahhh i wanna hang na myself and die.

Ng bigla nyang sinabi “0 tapos?”

Ennnkkkkk anu daw? Mukhang tanga akong ngsasabi ng nararamdaman ko sa kanya tapos o tapos lng ang sagot??? Wahhh i wanna wring her pretty neck just to put some sense in her crazy mind. JC help me!!!

“hey ayaw mo bang kumain? Ayaw mo ba ng food? Malapit na akong matapos, tapos ikaw di mo man lang nagalaw yang food mo?”

O god is she really concern more on my food than what i am saying? Wahhh i’m going insane.. God kunin nyo na ko. Di ko na yata kaya ang nararamdaman kong sakit. Nakakabaliw tong babaeng ito. 

Julie’s POV

Hahaha ang sarap nyang tignan. I heard evrything he said. In fact kinikilig ako. Dinadaan ko lng sa pagkain at pang aasar sa kanya. Ano bang dapat kong sabihin? Na i feel the same? O should I asked how did that happen? 

Mababaliw ako sa mga ngyayari. Sabi ko na sana natulog nalang ako sa bahay eh. Para hindi mukhang rollercoaster ang pakiramdam ko ngayon. My emotion is going crazy, i’m going insane. JC help!!!

“moe kain ka na. Lalamig ang food.”

“really you’re more concern in food than what i have just said?” nakasimangot na sabi ni Moe.

“what should i say or do? Beside maraming taong nagugutom kung di natin to kakainin at uubusin sayang naman.” 

“fine i’ll eat the food and don’t mind me” ok i know he’s mad. I think i went too far teasing him. It’s just that i don’t know what to say or do. 

Habang kumakain si Moe, natatawa ako sa itsura nya. Nakasimangot habang ngumunguya. Nanlalaki ang butas ng ilong habang kinakausap ang sarili. God how can he be this insanely cute even he’s mad and fuming with anger. 

“Moe? “

“yeah” he said

“are you still mad at me?” i asked.

“what do you think?” he asked back without looking at me.

Ok i guess im way out of line. I had to say sorry. He really got mad at me. I can see it through his eyes, through his body language and i can feel his emotion. How the hell that happen i really don’t freakin’ know.

“moe sorry, i really am. I don’t wanna hurt you, but i don’t know what to say.” i said. “i understand if you’re still mad at me at ayaw mo n akong kausapin. My kasalanan naman talaga ako sayo eh.”

“nope i’m not mad at you, i understand you. Kasi sino ba naman ako diba. I’m just randomly stranger guy in your life. Tapos bigla kong sasabihin yon sayo. Kahit ako sabihan ng ganun mgfifreak out din ako no.” sabi niya pero ramdam ko parin ang lungkot nya.

I maybe out of my mind but ayaw ko xang nagagalit sakin, at ayaw ko siyang nkikitang malungkot. Ano ba ngyayari sakin. And before i knew it reflexes took over me and i hold his hand and put it in my face. My tears fell.

“ok guys break a leg” the director shout and on cue he said then “enjoy!!”.

It’s another Sunday, another Party Pilipinas episode. The theme is Summer Rain. Hot. Cold. Refreshing.

Elmo is not in his self, medyo bad mood siya because people make a big fuzz about the tambalang Elmo-Barbie. And admit to himself na medyo afraid siyang mabuwag ang tambalan nila ni Julie. Not because takot siyang masira ang career nya, napatunayan nya namang he can be a solo artist eh, but the fact that mababawasan na ang mga time and day na i-i-spend nya with Julie.

On the other hand, Julie trying hard to put up a happy brave face. Yes she can stand alone as solo artist, no doubt about that, but she’s asking herself, can she really stand the pain of seeing Elmo with another girl. She can’t bare to think na magiging touchy and closer si Elmo sa iba. And Elmo will look into another girl’s eyes the way he did to her. That somebody will hold his hands and his arms will hug and embrace other than her.

Shelfish as it may seem, but if truth should be told ayaw nilang masira ang tandem nila. Alone they’re great artist, amazing even but together they are invincible and magical. Everytime that they perform together or just being together,  they felt a strong bond that makes them happy at madalas man silang masabihang may sariling mundo, they just don’t care. Coz when they’re together, they felt complete. They felt alive, no words to describe their relationship. More than friends but not a lover, closer but not too close but wherever they are, they’re happy  because Julielmo happened.

Opening prod:
They will sing together Summertime by Aaron Carter.  Sabay silang papasok kaya naman magkatabi na sila sa audience side. Elmo wearing red vans kicks, orange board shorts and white three stars and a sun shirt and red rayban shades, while julie wearing black vans kicks, maong shorts, sleeveless orange and green tops and white rayban shades.

“wow habol sa summer ha” Julie teasing Elmo. “career na career ang outfit”  

“yeah, I know I’m hot. Don’t mention it” Elmo laugh so in reaction hinampas ni Julie si Elmo.

“yabang” at sabay silang tumawa.

“aray naman bugbog na naman ako.” tapos biglang tumahimik si elmo and said “I will miss this feeling. I will miss you” in his mind

“o bakit bigla kang natahimik jan, umatake na naman ang pagiging bipolar mo?” pansin ni Julie.

“wala naisip ko lang iyong nabasa kong blog kanina”

“tungkol naman saan?”

“us” and before julie can ask sila na ang mgpeperform.  They go to the center stage. Elmo hold Julie’s hand but not the usual way they hold hands. Its INTERTWINED na ikinagulat ni Julie. The crazy part is bago pa sila umakyat hinawakan na siya nito. But being profesional hindi nalang pinansin ni Julie.

Nagulat si Julie kasi ang daming pinalitang lyrics ni Elmo. In her mind what happen to this guy, kanina sa dry run hindi naman ganun ung lyrics nya ah. Pero deep inside aminado siyang sobrang kilig nya, they not supposed to hold hands, wala ding akbayan pero bakit sobrang touchy ni Elmo now, take note intertwined pa hands and elmo initiate it. Not that she’s complaining.. 

Julie’s part

Una nagtaka si Elmo sa inasal ni Julie but when Julie smirk, he gets what she’s up too. Gumaganti ito sa pagiiba nya ng lyrics kaya natawa siya at natawa rin si Julie when she learn that Elmo knows na gumaganti siya. Pareho nilang iniba iyong mga lyrics. At ung offering hand parang reflexes lang buti nalang kinuha ni Elmo kamay nya kung hindi kahiya.

Julielmo

Then all the party artist join them. They go to the side. Hindi binitiwan ni Elmo iyong kamay ni Julie. So all the people including the co-artist are wondrin’ even Julie.

So bumulong si Julie “Moe kamay ko, baka gusto mong bitiwan tinutukso na tayo oh”

“don’t mind them, just wanna hold your hands.” and grinned.

“hoy baka madyaryo tayo niyan, at aware ka ba sa mga fancam vids. Malamang hindi pa tapos ang party p, may nakapag-upload ng mga adiks.” 

“no hindi naman. 18 na ko eh. Hehhehehe”

“a ganun, eh child abuse ka pa frend kasi 17 palang ako” nakatawang sabi ni Julie.

Habang nagsasalita sa harap sila Tim, Maxx, Mond at Isabelle nagkukulitan naman sila Julie sa likod kasama ang mga tweens.

“woi baka gusto nyo ng magbitaw” si Kristoffer “mawawala ba pre?”

“wow lantaran na kayo ha” si Barbie. “gurl pahiram muna maya kay Elmo ha, trabaho lang hehehe”

Tumawa lang si Elmo at naramdaman niyang kinurot siya ni Julie sa tagiliran. “sabi ko sayo bitiwan mo na ako eh.” saktong daan naman ng camera kila Elmo at nahuli ang pagkurot ni Julie na ikinapula ng mukha nito na lalong ikinatawa ni Elmo.

“grabe pare baka naman gusto ninyong tumigil ng kasweetan, nakakasuka eh hahaha” si Derrick “isa pa maawa kayo sa mga fans nyo mamamatay na oh” sabay turo sa mga fans.

True to Derrick’s word sobrang ang gulo ng mga Julielmos may naghahampasan, my pumupigil na sumigaw, may nakatayo at tumatalon pa. Kaya kumaway nalang silang dalawa sa mga tao. Nalimutan yata  ni Elmo na hawak nya ang kamay ni Julie kaya itinaas nya iyong kamay nya, na lalo namang nagpagulo sa mga fans at may sumigaw pa ng “ghadddddd oxygennnnnnnn”.

Si Lexly at Joyce sabay nagsabing “hanep sa promotion ah”. Natawa naman ang dalawa at on cue kumanta na sila ng summer jingle. Mukhang kiti kiti na naman si Julie sa kulit at super hyper si Elmo. Nagcommercial na kaya naman nagmamadaling pumunta sa dressing room si Julie. 

Patakbo sana si Julie ng hawakan ni Elmo ang wrist nya. “hey dahan-dahan madapa ka pa jan eh” at inakay na si Julie papunta sa dressing room.

Habang maglalakad sila nagtanong si Julie “Elmo what’s going on? Parang iba ka ngayon”

“hahahhah wala naman, don’t mind me. I’m fine. Oh DR nyo na, goodluck sa VOX mamaya.”

“ok” saka pumasok na sa loob at sinalubong siya ng tukso.

Si Maqui “wow te epekto ba yan ng legal age at malapit ng maglegal age?”

Si Mayton “wow tamesss nyo gurl ha”

Si Inna “sis nasapian ba kayo?”

Si Kris B. “umalis ka sa katawan ni Japs kung sino ka man” sabay tawa.

Same happening sa dressing room ng mga boys. Tuksuhan din pag pasok ni Elmo.

Si Jay-R “binata ka na, Man!”

Si Chris L. “wow level up dude” sabay tapik sa likod ni Elmo.

Si Gian ” here’s come the mannn!” with arms wide open.

Frank just look at Elmo with teasing, knowing smile like saying “huli ka bro”

While Arkin give his phone to Moe and mouthed “Mom”. 

Elmo go outside and talk to his mom. “yeah Mom?”

“what’s the meaning of that Elmo Moses?”

“nothing Mom, its just that I missed her,  I don’t know why, I’m close to her, but feeling ko ang layo nya, had to hold her to know that she’s around.”

“Elmo alam mo ba iyang sinasabi mo? You looked like hopelessly madly inlove with Julie. The way I hear. Hey you just turn 18 but it doesn’t mean na gagawin mo na ang sinasabi ng mga taong nakapaligid . You know how much I like Julie but son you have to be careful.”

“i know mom, ang tagal ko ng pinipigilan ang sarili ko, dati pa i wanna show how i felt for her but i can’t coz we’re young. I’m in legal age now, and soon she will too hindi ba pwedeng ipakita ko na iyong nararamdaman ko. I wanna let her know what i feel. I want to explore possibilities with her, and you know Julie she’s cautious and know her priorities. All I want to do is express my feelings. Lalo na ngayon ang dami ng nag-aabang sa pagiging legal age nya”

Naawa si Pia kay Elmo. Alam nya ang mga paghihirap ni Elmo sa pagpipigil nya sa damdamin nya. He can’t come too close to Julie coz everytime she’s near he loose control, when the fans get mad at him because hindi nya inalalayan or hinintay si Julie nasasaktan din siya.

And those time na nagpeperform sila, that when she knows na sobrang saya ni Elmo. The sparkling eyes, the cute smirk, careless moves. The protectiveness, the all-toothed smile, the playfulness, the giddiness, the cheerfulness in his voice and laughter. All the crazy stuff they did together those are the moments that Elmo show his true self. The only time Elmo did all that is when his with his siblings.

All the time he denies his feeling to Julie to the media, nasasaktan din siya. When Julie says no sa mga interview nya about feelings and romantic relationship with Elmo was hurt. Noong ngkaroon ng colaboration si Julie at Sam nasaktan din siya. He’s dying of jealousy whenever Julie was linked to Other guy. When everyone saying that sana sina Sam nalang at si Julie he even cried. He can’t do anything because wala siyang karapatan kay Julie.

“mom just this once, i wanna show to the world and to Julie that I care for her and I always got her back. Gotta go love you” and cut the line.

VOX 
Julie’s part, she will sing Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield.

Julie saw in her peripheral vision Elmo walking towards her with bouquet of orange flower on his hand. She panicked thinking nasa script ba ito? Her heart beats like crazy, almost pop out of her rib cage. He look at Elmo with big eyes hoping to understand what she wanna say. But maybe God is in the Other side looking other way hindi siya naintindihan ni Elmo. Nakalapit na si Elmo.

Elmo gave the flower to Julie. Akala nya aalis na si Elmo pero he just stood there next to her and listening to her song while nakaakbay. 

“Reaching for something in the distance

After Julie’s part akala nya iiwan na siya ni Elmo after siyang ihatid sa spot nya, pero tumayo lang din ito sa tabi niya. So she asked “Elmo nasasapian ka ba? Anong meron? Wala naman sa script iyong about sa flowers ah”

“wala nga, i ask direct if I can give you a flower sabi nya cge bahala ka. Kaya i gave you”

“pwede namang sa dressing room mo na ibigay eh, o kay mamayang pag-uwi”

Nasaktan si Elmo “sorry, i just wanna do that, i don’t know what’s got into me, sorry hindi na mauulit” sabay tumawa ng mapakla.

“hey you don’t have to say sorry. Iniisip lang kita. Malamang maraming negative comments na naman sayo mamaya, sabihin nila publicity na naman to para kumita iyong film natin. Or you’re just using me for your new endorsement product.”

“don’t care what they say”

Julie wasn’t able to asked Elmo why coz they will sing na their final piece. To Julie’s surprised Elmo get the flower and hold her left hand and walked with her to her spot in the stage.

My mga times na sinasabayan siya ni Elmo sa pagkanta at isusway siya. At  sinamahan siya ni Elmo hangang matapos ang prod and walk her to the dressing room.

Since mamaya pa ang prod nilang dalawa pinuntahan ni Elmo si Julie sa DR nito.

“elmo kinakabahan na ako sayo ha, lilipat ka na ba ng station?” biro ni Julie but pero deep within alam nya something wierd happening to Elmo. “o should i call exorcist baka sinasapian ka?”

“can we talk outside?” Elmo said seriously.

They walk outside and Julie says “ok spill the beans, I’m going crazy na sa mga kinikilos mo ngayon.”

“Julie are you ready to let me go? Our tandem? Or the friendship?”

“i read the news write ups kanina, about sa paghihiwalay ng tandem natin. I don’t know but it makes me feel bad and sad. And hindi pa man nangyayari namimiss na kita” Elmo looked into Julie’s eyes while saying all this.

Speechless si Julie sa revelation ni Elmo. Hindi siya makapaniwala na maririnig nya kay Elmo iyon. “bakit” all she can utter.

“i don’t know too, hindi ko pa sigurado ang nararamdamn ko, all i know is its breakin’ my heart knowing that someday we’ll be seperated and i can’t do anything about it.”

“kahit naman hindi na tayo tandem we can be friends parin naman eh. We can get to work parin naman dito sa party p. We can txt, call, dm or bbm. We can hangout din”

“i know but i can’t bare to think that someone will hold you, the way I do. Somebody will sing with you, or kiss you the way we do. That someone will put his arms around your waist or shoulder the way i do.” Elmo almost choke to this words, too much emotions.

“hey remember on one of our interview and ask if may ipapartner saating iba, i answered much better nalang if magsolo artist ako” Julie lift Elmo’s chin and look in his eyes. “I’m serious about that. I can work with other artist, male artist but i will never ever have another partner or loveteam”

“really? Me too thats my plan.” Elmo suddenly smile. “mamimiss ko lang iyong halos 24hrs tayong magkasama, nagkukulitan at nagkakantahan.”

“hey we got another project pa naman together db” si Julie trying to cheer up. “isa pa iyong movie natin hindi pa tapos. At since naurong ang playdate malamang marami tayong out of town promotion.”

“and Mom also told me that there’s somebody who wanna do indie film with us”

“nabanggit nya sa akin last sunday ng dalawin nya ko sa bahay to bring food and my scheds and stuffs.”

While the twitter world is in mayhem because of picture and tweet of Julielmo the studio audience is also in ecstatic mode. The keso boys theme is all about pretty girls at ang natapat pa kay Elmo is This girl by Laza Morgan.

Since nakabihis na si Julie for dance combi, he asked Julie to watch him perform. And natuwa naman si Elmo when Julie says sure. Pumunta na si Elmo sa pwesto nya while Julie left on the audience side.

Elmo’s part

Bumaba siya sa audience in Julie’s side and continue singing.

Nagulat ang mga keso boys, kasi wala naman sa script iyong ginawa ni Moe ngayon. Kakanta lang siya, pwede siyang pumunta sa audience pero wala sa script na kasama si Julie sa audience. Natawa nalang sila at pag-akyat uli ni Elmo s stage kinamayan, binatukan, hinampas at ngpist bump pa sa kanya.

After the prod imbes na sa likod siya dumaan, pumunta pa siya sa pwesto ni Julie para sunduin ito at sabay silang pumunta sa DR. While they’re walking and talking, walang pakialam sa paligid, ang daming camera na nakatutok sa kanila. Magkalat ang mga adiks na hindi alam kung kukuha ba ng video o ng picture o gugulong nalang at kikiligin sa isang tabi.

Kasi naman habang nglalakad sila magkahawak ang kamay nila. Tapos nakasalubong pa nila Julie ang mama nya kaya nakipagbeso at kumustahan pa si Elmo without letting go Julie’s hand.

“tita pwede po bang saakin nalang sumabay mamaya si Julie?”

“hmmm why?”

“just wanna hear mass with her and dinner kung pwede po.”

“kayo lang bang dalawa?”

“sa pagpunta po sa church but the dinner we’ll be joining Mom, Arkin and Clara o kung sino man pong dumating pang kapatid ko”

“ok ingat lang sa pagdadrive ha, alam kong ikaw na ang nagdadrive ng kotse mo.”

“oi Magalona baka gusto mo naman akong tanungin kung gusto kong sumama sayo”

“hehehe hindi ka na makakatanngi kasi pumayag na si Tita eh, kaya nga sa kanya na ko ngsabi kasi alam kong magdadahilan ka lang”

Natawa naman si Tita Marivic “clever!” tumingin kay “Elmo magbihis ka na, susunod na and dance combi nyo db.”

“yes mam!” sabay ngiti. ” later pillows” at umalis na bago pamahampas ni Julie.

During the prod, they just enjoy it, they dance and sing along with the song. Habang hindi pa sila ung sasayaw ngkukulitan sila sa tabi. They got world of their own again. And after the prod they change outfit for the rap-acoustic prod.

Nakapuwesto na sila, Julie and ELmo at the center top-most sporting they couple guitar, Chris sitting at a beat box with Lira on the side in her Guitar to the left flatform. Jay with his guitar and Sarah standing beside him at the right flatform. Frank and Maqui sitting at the lower step. They are just waiting to finish the commercials. 

“Julie have you check your twitter?” Elmo started a conversation.

“yeah trending ung superelmo’s myjaps, sabog ang TL at mentions ko”

“grabe nila no, kumanta lang ako eh trending na agad tayo.”

“ikaw kasi ang landi mo eh.” sabay tawa at hampas ni Julie kay Elmo.

“it’s just that I’m happy today that i could fly” sabat titig kay Julie.

“Moe what’s goin’ on? Naguguluhan ako sayo” ayaw mag-assume ni Julie kaya naman he wanna hear it from Elmo. Baka kasi mali ang nararamdaman at nakikita nya sa mga ginagawa ni Elmo.

“right now can we just enjoy the moment? Can we be just be like this? Let me show you how I feel. I don’t wanna ask right now. Hindi pa ako handa sa isasagot mo eh. Kaya pwede ba ganito muna tayo, knowing deeply each other and moving closer?”

Natawa naman si Julie, ng marealize nya ang sinabi ni Elmo. Elmo’s playing safe takot itong mabasted at in his twisted, subtle crazy way nanliligaw na ito. “Moe by any chance are you trying to say that you’re courting me, and just let you do your thing so I can fall for you para hindi ka mabasted in the end”

“hehehe am I that obvious?” 

“no, i just know u better that’s why i figure out what you wanna do, and my answer is I love…. ” Julie stopped and look in Elmo’s face, natawa siya coz Elmo’s face and reaction is priceless. “….to move closer to you” and Julie smile with her blinding smile.

“our song later is my serenade to you!”

“cheesy wafu. Hahahaha” sabay tawa ng malakas ni Julie. “leggo”

Then the prod starts. Elmo give his all in playing the guitar. Once in a while he will look at Julie at pag nakita niyang nakatingin din ito kikindatan nya at ngingitian na ikinaiiling nalang ni Julie at ngingiti na lang din.

Jay says “go Man show them what you’ve got”

Elmo smiles and said “this is for the birthday girl My Japs” and everybody laugh.

Julielmo’s part

Elmo sings his part looking at Julie’s eyes, feeling all the words and  notes. Each words sang with all his feelings. Holding Julie’s hand so tight as if she’ll be gone if he let go. And they sang the chorus.

At closing prod, Elmo and Julie accidentally wear their red shirt na vans and black kicks. Everyone tinutukso sila. Kaya dinaan nalang din nila sa biro. “sponsored eh sayang naman kung hindi gagamitin” si Julie.

“ain’t we cute? Sabay hila kay Julie at inakbayan”

“ayon naman talaga, kayo na pre kayo na talaga” si Kristoffer sabay apir kay Derrick at Elmo.

And they sang the closing prod. As usual parang kiti-kiti na naman si Julie at Elmo. Nagtatawanan, nagkukulitin, playing goofy around. Nagtatalunan et nagme-make faces din sila at sabay na tatawa ng labas ang mga ngipin. Tapos magbubulungan at tatawa na naman.

And so that concludes today’s party p.

Papunta na sila sa parking lot pero ang dami pading nagpapapicture at bumabati at ngbebeso kay Julie kaya naman Elmo patiently waiting for Julie. He also have Julie’s bag

Napansin siya ng isang Adik at sabing “wow Moe alalay lang ang peg ah, taga bitbit ng bag?”

Natawa lang si Elmo at sabing “alalay agad? Pwede namang boyfriend db”

And every adik listening hindi alam kung ano ang gagawin sa kilig. 

“guys una na po kami simba pa kami eh” si Julie habang kumakaway sa mga adiks.

They walk together. In the parking lot pumunta muna sila sa kotse nila Julie para maipagpaalam din ni Elmo si Julie sa papa nito.

“hello po tito ipagpapaalam ko lang po sa inyo si Julie, we will just attend the mass and have dinner with my family. Ok lang po ba?”

Nagulat naman si Tita Marivic at Tito Jonathan kasi ipinagpaalam pa ulet ni Elmo si Julie. Kaya naaisip ng dad ni Julie na biruin ito. “sorry hindi pwede si Julie eh, ,ay prior engagement na siyang dapat puntahan hindi nacheck ni tita mo kanina bago siya omoo syo” seryosong turan nito.

Si Elmo naman kahit mukhang disappointed sinabi nalang na “ganun po ba tito, ok lang po kung may pupuntahan na siya, last minute decision naman po kasi iyon eh”

“dad really” nakangiting sabi ni Julie na hindi nakita ni Elmo kasi nakayuko siya at mahigpit na hawak ang kamay ni Julie.

“just take care of our baby, iuwi mo siya ng buo. At next time ikaw naman ang sumabay saaming magmass ha.” seryoso pading sabi ng dad ni Julie.

It took a minute before the thought sink in to Elmo’s mind kaya naman “ano po ulit iyon tito?”

Natawa naman ang tatay ni Julie at sabay sabing “linis linis din ng tenga ha. Alis na kayo. Ingat.”

“thank you tito, thank you tita, I will take care of Julie” at nakangiting himila na si Julie. “salamat po talaga” pahabol pa ni Elmo.

ELMO’s POV

Walang magawa, matapos mgtxt ang thesis prof namin na available siya ngayon, biglang sasabihin my emergency meeting pala siya. Parang gago lang. Sarap ihampas sa muscle ko. Grrrrr. Wala pa namang recording ngayon. Makapunta nalang ng mall.

“wahhhh am i late? Where’s Sir? Am i too early?” hysterical at sunod sunod na tanong ni Julie Anne. Yeah she look so harassed and her hair is a mess, pawis na pawis sya, siguro dahil sa pagtakbo pero still and cute nya.

” nako adik si sir, umoo na available xa pagdating ko dito nasa emergency meeting daw sabi sa faculty. 

“freakin’ what? The hell! I run from parking lot up to here tapos wala siya?” nanlalaki ang mata nya sa asar at nakakatuwang tignan. My konting make up pa sya sa mukha siguro galing sa siya sa showbiz commitment nya.

“puso mo naman” natatawa kong sabi. Can’t help to smile im happy and she’s really cute even so messed up and haggard.

“natatawa ka pa jan. alam mo ba ang pinagdaanan ko bago ako makarating dito. Wala pa akong tulog kasi galing pa ako ng taping. Hindi pa ako nguumagahan kasi iniisip ko baka malate ako. Ni hindi pa nga ako nakakapghilamos ng maayos eh” maiiyak nya ng sabi kaya naman tumigil ako sa pgtawa. Wanna hugged her na tuloy. 

“sori, hindi ko naman alam na buwis buhay pala ang pagpunta mo eh” wahhh i wanna kill the reason of her misery, sino nga ba yon?.

“d mo kasi ako tinext eh, oh kaya DM, o kaya ngtweet ka o minesage sa FB” 

” your highness kakarating ko lang po.” i teased her. “isa pa i don’t have twitter and fb “

“oh you don’t? Why? Saan k ba galing na planeta? Tao ka ba?” gulat na gulat talaga siya. Bakit? Kailangan ba talaga iyon?

Natawa naman ako sa mga tanong nya. “sorry your highness d ko alam na required palang meron non. Sorry no one told me eh.” Alam ko parang akong tanga pero natutuwa akong asarin siya.

“hey stop calling me your highness.” and she pouted. Wahhh i wanna kiss her. Easy boy i told myself.

“so what will you do now?” i asked.

“nothing i’ll just go home and sleep i guess.” 

“you wanna go out? I mean just hangout” woahh where the hell that came from? Bigla nlng lumabas sa bibig mo.

“wehhh are you serious? Aren’t you afraid na baka bukas nasa headline na tayo?”

“i don’t care let them think what they wanna think.”

“ohh i forget you’re mr-i-don’t-give-a-damn-about-them nga pala”

Woahh she knows that. Yes she’s keeping tab on me. Can’t help to smile at nakita nya yon.

“hoy yabang nito i dont stalk you or anything i just read it somewhere”

“bkit k defensive?” she’s blushing so gorgeous. 

“e kasi you’re smile telling me you’re making fun of me.” 

“ok sorry i’ ll stop na” baka magalit siya sakin. “so are you going with me?” please please say yes. Good lord help me

She’s thinking and she look so adorable. I can see her hesitation, changes of emotions, i can watch her all day and i don’t mind at all. Finally she says ” sure i wanna go out with you”

Yes! Yes! Yes! She said yes right. Keep it cool man you look so girly girly.. I calm my self and says “cool. Thats great.”

“yeah whatever”

“where are we going? Your car? Or my car?” 

” bahala ka na. Car mo na lng kasi kakauwi lng ni manong eh”

” ok your highness” i smile

“hey stop calling me that” she blushed.

“hahaha cute when blushing.” she blushed even harder”

“your crazy. Fanboy!”

Yeah maybe i’m a fanboy but it goes way back before she became big star. “yeah maybe i am, so what? She blushed again, im loving this day.

JAPS’s  POV

At talagang humirit pa talaga sarap saktan. He’s crazy and i hate his guts. Pero natutuwa ako sa word war namin. I never thought na madaldal sya sa personal. Ang kulet nya malayo sa showbiz image nya.

“hmmm bkit tumahimik ka?” i open a conversation.

“dba sabi mo tumahimik na ko, so i did”

“so good boy k ganon?”

“nope naman ayaw ko lng na mabadtrip ka kasi baka bigla k nalng mgwalk out eh.”

Nagtaka naman ako sa sagot nya “bakit naman?

“ewan ko din eh, maybe because im a fanboy. Moment ko na to, to be with you susulitin ko na” shucks wala bang gagawin to kundi pg blushin ako ng pagblushin? Grabe naman to.

“grabe pre malala ka na try mong magkape para kabahan ka”

“yabang. Hahaha honestly d ko din alam eh, pg kausap kita dumadaldal ako imbes na tumahimik at mahiya” nice i love this side of him. Easy to get along than his unaffected superior side.

“ganun so kasalanan ko p pala mgayon. Sorry naman pla”

“you know your crazy right? And what we have now, whatever it is, is crazy and bizzare and cosmic and great” elmo with big smile.

Bigla akong napaisip. He’s right. When we talk, when we’re together everything fit in. It’s like a puzzle n biglang nabuo, great coz it felt right and cosmic kasi parang  unbeleivable but existing, bizzare kasi unexpected to happen.

“o natahimik k nmn jan. wag k nalng masyadong mgisip. Let fate take its course. Everything will be alright” he said.

And i drift to sleep. Sobrang pagod ko.

ELMO’s POV

Wow that was dream come true i get to know her in person plus kapartner ko pa sa thesis. I maybe a hero in my past life to be this lucky. Yeah i got a big crush on her, since i first saw her. I first saw her in a coffee shop where i’ m working before. 

Her eyes is so sad that i wanna cry. Yeah so cheesy as it seems but right that very moment, i felt her pain. So much pain that i can taste it. I hate the person who did that to her. Lalo na ng pumatak ang mga luha sa kayang mga mata.

She’s crying and i wanna hug her and give all my strenght to her. I wanna share her pain. And if possible i’ll carry her pain just to see her smiling face. I never felt this strong emotions of love, hatred and compassion before. But seeing her crying like that , i felt like any minute im gonna explode in so much emotion.

“miss are you ok? Eto panyo” i gave her my hanky, though i can’t see her eyes i know she’s still crying.

“salamat” matipid niyang sabi. Medyo garalgal ang boses nya dahil sa pag-iyak.

“walang anuman. My gusto ka pa ba?

“wala na salamat. Salamat sa panyo. D ko na pwedeng ibalik sayo kasi my sipon na kaya paxenxa nalang.” sabi nya sabay ngiti ng pilit.

Umalis ako ngunit para kumuha lang ng tubig. “eto inumin mo ito para lumuwag ang pahinga mo.” at umupo ako sa tabi niya. Buti nalang wala ng gaanong costumer kasi madaling araw na.

“salamat ha, alam mo ang sama sama ng pakiramdam ko. I felt like i’m breaking into pieces. Everything that happening now makes me wanna give up and just drift away” umiiyak niyang sabi at sumandal sa balikat ko.

Lalo kong naramdaman ang pagiyak nya. Medyo nabasa na ang damit ko sa mga luha nya. My heart is breaking as hers too. Her effect to me is so strong that i was surprised in myself. 

Habang pinapat ko ang back nya i said “ok lng walng problema. Miss kung nasasaktan ka wag mong piliting ngumiti, kasi mas lalo k lng masasaktan, damhin mo lng ang sakit hanggang mamanhid ka, at pag manhid ka na let go all the emotions and after all the emotions gone, move on. Easier said than done but you’ll see it will help you.” 

“salamat sa payo at sa panyo” sabi niya at muling pinunasan ang luha. ” ok next time when i see you again i can smile to you with all my heart. Godbless”

That was happened five years ago and i still remember it vividly. Every word, every emotions parang kahapon lng nangyari. 

Its just sad lng na di nya ko nakilala pero i’m glad she fulfill her promise that she can smile na.

With that thought i sleep with big smile and peaceful that night. Knowing that this is the start of something good and wonderful life.

JAPS’s POV

Sitting here in my bed looking in this old, cheap hanky. The only thing that keep me sane during the times na akala ko i’m gonna break down and loose myself. I still remember the night i almost kill myself because of depression. The boy and this hanky came and everything changed.

Nasan n kaya siya. Sana maalala ko ang mukha nya. I wanna find him and thank him sa mga ginawa nya para sakin.  Nasan na kaya siya. Okey lang ba siya. Bakit wala na kasi sya doon ng hanapin ko siya eh. Hindi man lang ako nakapagpasalamat sa kanya.

Its been ages but i still remember his words, that soothing voice that calm my soul. Every word he says is like balm that medicate my wounded heart. I know i gotta find that boy. I feel it in my soul that he’s near and when i saw him i will thank him for keeping me alive and fighting.

Ng biglang ngflash sa utak ko ang mukha ni Magalona.

Huh bakit naman napasok sa isip ko si Magalona. I’m really going crazy. Ok he’s cute and all pero hindi ko siya pwedeng magustuhan at mahalin. Kabikabila ang nalilink sa kanya, unreachable star ang bansag sa kanya, masungit at suplado daw siya. At higit sa lahat my attitude problem daw sya.

Ano ba tong naiisip ko gusto kaagad,siguro natuwa lang talaga ako kaya kung ano ano naiisip ko. Baka gusto nya lng makipagkaibigan kasi pareho kaming nilalayuan sa school. Wala kaming kaibigan. Hmmm baka nga ganun lang..

Tapos kapartner ko pa siya sa thesis. 

Wahhh mukhang inlove na nga yata ako sa kaya ah.. Nyemas…

“ok guys settle down, i know, i know bitin ang dalawang linggong bakasyon nyo pero we gotta do what we have to do and that is to continue to study and get your diploma.” si Mr. Scott Anderson ang advisory teacher namin. 

Here i am sitting in this forsaken chair. Nobody talk to me because they think im too high and mighty. Simula palang nong pumasok ako dito no one talk to me or sit beside me. I’m a girl, taking up engineer where in dominated by boys/lads/men. I took this course coz i know i can do it and im good at it. And one day i will prove to them that im not just a pretty face. 

While thinking i felt someone sit beside me. Wow i like the guts of this guy. He’s the first guy who sit beside  me. Actually the first ever who sit beside me. 

“hi” i said

“hey” he said.

“hey you’re Elmo right? What are you doin’ in here?” dang anong klaseng tanong yon. Parang tanga lang. At sabay akong namula.

“maybe just like you i’m a student here” he said in a low serious . But deep inside ngbebelly dancing siya sa tuwa. She knows me JC.

“ahhh nakakagulat lang. Dito ka din pala ngaaral. Akala ko home shooled ka.” say what? Ako ba to? Talking to stranger or natuwa lng ako kasi after being alone in this freakin seat, i’ve got seatmate..

“e ikaw bakit dito ka ng-aaral? You can be home schooled din naman ah, at saka compare to me mas busy ka.” elmo can’t believe he’s actually talking to julie. He’s hyperventilating ang sweating all together, hoping na hindi mahalata.

“hmmm why you know i’m busy huh? ” i ask. Wow he knows me. The mighty Elmo Magalona keeping tab on me? Hahhah feeling ko naman.. Pero wala naman masamang mgilusyon diba.

“so our two big stars get along well” si Mr. Anderson. Bigla ko nalang naalalang nasa classroom pala kami. Namula tuloy ako habang si Elmo naman ay kumakamot naman sa ulo. The hell napansin ko pa yon.

“yeah sir first time ko kasing mameet si Ms. San Jose kaya kinumusta ko lang.” si elmo gusto ng irapan ang prof nya sa pangugulo sa moment nila. Pero shettt muntik na iyon. Buti sumingit si Sir.

“yeah sir me too” ano bang sagot yon parang tanga lang ah.

“so since pareho kayong artist na busy ni Ms. San Jose Mr. Magalona, kayo nalang ang partner. Para hindi mahirapan sa sked nyo kung sino man ang makakapartner nyo. Kahit anong topic nyo basta connected sa course nyo. And guys once a week you have to see me, para malaman ko ang progress nyo af maiassist ko kayo sa mga bagay na hindi nyo alam. Understood.”

“yes sir, thank you” lahat kaming students.

The day went well naman. Mejo nagdiscuss si sir about how to do a thesis and then after almost 3hrs na pakikinig uwian na. Salamat naman kasi ang uncomfortable ng posisyon ko, since partner kami ni Moe tabi kami sa upunan. 

“say what? Moe daw oh. FC?” kausap ko sa sarili ko.

Bakit ganon i felt something strange, my heart beat faster when i’m beside him. And for the first time i felt butterfly in my tummy. Am i going crazy? Bakit parang pag nasa malapit siya my senses working overdrive.

At dahil nalilito ako, para akong nawawala satinuan na nglalakad sa buong campus till i remember na kailanagn ko pa palang itxt si manong para sunduin ako sa school. Ano ba yan baliw na yata ako. Eh hindi ko naman 1st time makakita ng gwapo. Pero bakit iba ang dating sakin ni Moe.

This is the first time na makaharap ko siya at makausap. Hindi kasi nagkakatugma ang sked namin, kaya never kaming ngsama sa isang show. Tapos mas mahirap pa sa other network sya. Noon namang ngexpired ang contract nya sa other network ako naman hindi na halos tumatanggap ng show dahil sa OJT ko.

Wondrin’ around, walking slowly and my mind is over the place, i heard that voice that sends my heart summersaulting and my body become fully aware that this is reality and he’s really here talking to me.

“hey San Jose to earth, are you okey?” si Moe hindi mapigilan ang sarili na lapitan si Julie kanina pa kasi mukhang wala sa sarili si Julie Anne, ang init init nglalakad sa gitna ng court, wala pang payong. Kaya pa pinayungan pero my 5min na siyang nasa tabi ni Julie hindi parin siya napapansin.

“hey! Magalona whatyoudoinhere?” gulat na gulat naman ako at halos lumabas na ang puso ko sa sobrang kabog ng dibdib ko.

“what? you talk too fast that i can’t understand. Are you ok? Are you sick or something?” alalang alala naman si elmo baka may sakit mga si julie.

Ahh ok that was awkward and wierd. “y-y-yeah i-i-im fine. ” the hell, why am i sttutering like idiot. Oh JC please take me now.

“are you sure? You look so nervous and why are you stuttering?

“daming tanong, ano ba kasi kailangan mo bakit mo ko tinawag.” pgtataray ko nalang.

Hala ngsungit na siya nagalit na nga yata sa akin. Deym. “hey just wanna ask you how can i contact you about our thesis” syempre kahit alam ko no. Nya hindi ko siya pwedeng itxt baka mgtaka siya.

Ay oo nga pala nalimutan ko sa sobrang kaba ” here punch in your no. and give me your phone” i took my photo and give back to him his phone. Hala bakit my photo pa talaga. Wahhh baliw na talaga.

“ok thats all. Bye take care” si elmo sobrang saya. Gusto ng tumambling dahil nakuha nya na ang no. ni julie at my picture pa. Julie took picture para sa contact photo nya.

“bye same to you.” all i can say kasi dumating na si manong.

Habang nasa sasakyan, hindi ako mapakali kaya naman tinawagan ko si Lena. Wahhhh bakit ang tagal niyang sagutin. Busy ba siya. 

After million rings “salamat gurl sinagot mo din”.

“why? What happened? Are you hurt?” panic mode na ang boses ni Lena.

“OA reaction ka naman te, im fine but i think something’s wrong with me and i’m going crazy na”

“te matagal ka ng baliw, why what’s wrong with you” pasalamat siya wala siya sa tabi ko kung hindi kinalbo ko na kilay nya. Grrrr…

Kinuwento ko sa kanya iyong ngyari kanina tapos tinawanan nya lang ako, pati si manong caloy tumatawa. Bakittttt?

“bakit kayo tumatawa?” ok mejo edgy na ako. I’m in misery and they both laughing at me, tama ba iyon!

“kasi naman te tinamaan ka yata kay moe” cool na sabi n lena.

Ok, ano daw, tama ba rinig ko, baliw yata itong si Lena “hoy anong in love ka jan, temporary insanity lang to no, babye na nga wala kang kwentang kausap.” sabay baba ng phone.

It can’t be, kakakilala ko nga lang sa kanya eh, ano iyon parang instant noodles lang, instant na inlove. Siguro na starstruck lang ako sa kanya. Nyemas naman kasi ang pogi at ang lakas ng dating nya sa akin. Para siyanag bagyo. “Woahhhn stop right there girl” baliw na talaga ako..

Biglang ngsalita si manong caloy “iha sometimes dumatating nalng iyong tadhana natin na parang bagyo. And before you knew it nakapanalanta na. Hindi k pwedeng maiwang nakatayo lng sa gitna, its either hayaan mo nalng siyang makalampas, at mgkaroon ng maraming what ifs, o tanggapin mo siya and go with the flow sabi nga nila.

Hala lalong sumakit ang ulo ko sa mga sinabi ni manong. Wala akong naintindihan. Nakakaloka.

Another day at the set of  a teleserye that Julie working on. Sabi nila she’s perfect in all aspect, beauty, talent, attitude, brain lahat lahat ng hahanapin mo sa isang tao nasa kanya na. Kaya maraming umiidolo sa kanya mula sa mga bata hanggang middle aged upto 60 years old. Crazy but there’s something about Japs that people find so alluring that they can’t resist her.

“salamat direk. Tapos na ba tayo ngayon kasi got class pa po eh” wika nya.

“yeah we’re done for today. Salamat din at ingat.” direk bid goodbye and kiss Julie in the cheek.

She go to her car and put on her beats and blasted the music till it took her weary soul. Its been five years but she can still feel the pain. The pain that crippling her till now. Her life is so perfect then got great family who love her, supports her and care for her. Lagi man silang wala she can feel how much they appreciate and proud of her. Friends that always be there no matter what. Boyfriend that love and cares about her, whom she love so much in return.

Till that faithful night everything change. She found out his boyfriend cheating on her because she don’t wanna have sex with him and the worst part ang bestfriend nya pa ang babae ng jowa nya.

The following day natanggap nya ang balita na namatay sa car crashed ang mommy at daddy nya habang papunta sa business meeting nila. Nang maiuwi at mailibing ang mga magulang nya, she found out na marami pala silang utang na kailangang bayaran. Ibinenta nya ang lahat ng mga ari arian nila para ibayad sa utang at ang natira bumili siya ng maliit na bahay at panggastos nya araw araw.

At unti-unti naring nawala ang mga kaibigan nya. Dahil walang wala na siya nawala narin ang mga akala niyang tunay na kaibigan. And the irony of life is kung sino pa iyong hindi nya inaasahang mg-i-stick sa kanya e iyon pa iyong tumulong sa kanya at hindi siya iniwan. Si Lena na hanggang ngayon kaibigan nya parin at karamay sa lahat ng bagay. Her PA, make up artist, friend, kahit anong pwede, they’re like sisters but very opposite.

Dahil doon kinailangan niyang mgtrabaho para mabuhay at maipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral nya. Second year college na siya noon. Ngtrabaho siya bilang isang service crew sa isang restaurant at doon siya nadiscover ni ate zette.

“mam nandito n po tayo sa school nyo” si manong caloy.

Okey back to reality. “cge manong salamat . Pwede n po kayong umuwi txt ko nlng po kayo kung uwian ko na.”

“ok mam alis na po ako. Ingat po kayo” At umalis na si Manong

“Hay kailangan ko n naman ngumiti at maging masaya sa harap ng lahat. “ok. 1,2,3 take” at pumasok na” pagchecheer ni julie sa sarili nya, sabay buntong hininga at nglakad na.

ELMO’s POV

HAY nakakapagod naman maging artista habang nagaaral . Pagod na ang katawan pagod pa ang isip. Pero i know i can do it. I can and i will. 

That’s my line every night i go to sleep and every morning when i wake up. Konti nalang naman malapit n akong matapos sa pag-aaral, matutupad ko narin ang matagal ng pangarap ng magulang ko, ang magtapos ng paaral at maging isang engineer. Isang sem nalang tapos na rin. “mom, dad its all for you. I miss you two so much”

Inabot din ako ng pitong taon sa college dahil pinagsabay komang pag-aaral at pag-aartista. Kahit pakonti-konti kumukuha ako ng mga units. Mahirap talaga my mga time na halos gusto ko ng igive up ang studies kompero tuwing maiisip ko ang magulang ko at ang babaeng buhay ko ngkakaroon ako ng panibagong lakas to push through.

Elmo Moses Arroyo Magalona, thats who I am, but i’m popularly known as Moe Magalona. I am big star, a rapper, singer, composer, a student and very private person. How’s that happen i don’t know too, maybe because i seldom give interviews, smile to public at ang laging sagot ko sa mga ambush interview ay no comment. I maybe living as a big star but i still feel so small and alone in this big world of shit called showbizness. 

Dati simple lang ang buhay namin. I’m a struggling student, working to support my studies, sing to let go my stress and have fun. 

Till one night we decided to go to a bar and celebrate my friend’s birthday. And somewhere along the tawanan and inuman napapayag nila akong kumanta sa stage at everything follows before i knew it, im a star and everyone follows and adores me.

At first i’m so adamant to enter showbiz world but then i saw Julie Anne San Jose doing her first TVC and then followed her launching tv series. Doon ko na tinanggap ang offer sakin to be a performing artist.

“sir kailangang nyo na pong gumising, may pasok pa po hayo ng alas 8” tawag ni manang.

“sige manang salamat” hay d pa nga ako nakakatulog gigisingn naman. Pero i know i have to get up and fix my self. First day of second sem, don’t wanna be late. Limang buwan nalang. At halos wala naring ginagawa. I-memeet lng namin iyong prof namin para sa thesis namin. Tapos free na kami basta matapos namin ang thesis namin on time para makasama kami sa gagraduate.

Nglie low ako sa pgtanggap ng projects para matapos ko iyong OJT ko. Ngfreelance nalang din ako para hindi masyadong demanding sa time. Most of the offers tinurn down ko. Ok lang naman kasi malaki na ang ipon ko. Pero hindi ko parin kasi nagagawa ang misyon ko dito sa showbiz kaya kahit pamimsan minsan tumatanggap ako ng mga tv guestings at tv shows.

Konting panahon nalang Julie Anne, hindi nalang kita titignan sa malayo, at papanoorin sa tv at you tube magiging akin ka na din. Yeah im a fan boy na kulang nalang maging stalker ni julie anne. I go sa same school na pinapasukan nya, alam ko ang sked nya at ang bahay nya. Pero i don’t wanna approach her, kasi gusto ko my maipagmamalaki na ako when i ask her to marry me.

Wahhhhh lakas ng tama ko. Ako na talaga. Kasal kaagad. Elmo baliw ka na talaga. Baka imbes na makuha mo siya eh lumayo sayo dahil sa takot at isiping baliw ka.
